Today I'm sure was not representative of the London. It was 77 degrees and loads of people were out along the river Thames and our hotel is right in the middle of Westminster. People aren't nearly as friendly as they were in Joburg so I felt much more at home. Of course I also do this every time I go to a new place; I fall in love with the downtown area. London, though may just be my favorite downtown so far.
While I miss South Africa and really can't wait to go back, I could see myself living in London. There's reliable Internet, which is so nice to have after not having it for a week and my international data plan actually works here so I'm connected and mobile again.
I'll be spending a few days in our London office but my wife is flying out and I'm going to take a few days off, something I'm long overdue for.
I already got out and saw some of the sites around my hotel.
And then went down along the river for some different kind of sites. Namely, loads of Brits getting sunburned.
