    Pandora broke the beta but will sell you something better.

    I like Pandora. I was seriously thinking about supportimg them by buying the free service. I think Lucia's doing a good job and I feel bad for her. It's a tough job. But my point to all of this (below and over on GetSatisfaction) is Pandora broke it. Not an update to AIR or Windows. I didn't break it. Pandora broke their own Beta desktop app at the same time they came out with an ad free paid version. 

    Yes, Lucia, it was free and a beta and the timing sucks but Pandora broke it. When Gmail doesn't work Google doesn't say sorry it's still beta and it's free. 

    Lucia, an employee of Pandora, commented on a reply in why does a new browser open when i click a button on desktop pandora?, a question about Pandora.

    We accidentally broke something free, outdated, and no longer supported. We made something new & better, and are charging for it. .Bad timing, and bad communication on our part. Sorry. I understand your skepticism, but the timing truly was accidental, I'm told. -Lucia
