    Voice.wav

Just how much more content can we continue to create and consume? One
thing's for sre; We're going to need a bigger boat.

Gen Y will definitely break the Internet, if the widespread problems online following the Michael Jackson passing are an example of what to expect in the not too distant future then it's not looking good!

I wasn't aware that you could upload podcasts to Posterous, will have to try that out when I have an interesting topic. Can I upload Voice Memos from the iPhone?

Joe, record your voice memo on iPhone, send it via email from your iPhone to post@posterous.com: eh voila! Your first podcast.

The MJ example is a great one. Things should get interesting.

As long as you can attach the voice memo' to email the yes. In fact
anything you can send over email should embed in Posterous.. I haven't
tried anything alse yet, but I will soon.

All the big hardware vendors are getting geared up and talking about the crazy exponential information/data explosion. My worry is with the network/bandwidth capacity to handle this explosion. It's very capital intensive for all of us to get to the 42M average of South Korea, say.

Love the impromptu podcast. Very cool! One thing I've noticed about GenY is that they're extremely comfortable with video. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the content they produce is video related, as opposed to the written content.

I really don't think that Generation Y will break the internet. The internet will be changed, for sure, but not broken. Generation Y will revolutionize the internet with new adaptations and opportunities for content creation. Marketing will change, as it already has, again and again.

Totally agree Bret. I think at times it may go through radical changes and may feel like its breaking but that's the beauty of a distributed network like the Internet, it's almost impossible to really break.
